Review: Brew

Brew by David Estes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Do you like witches, wizards, and warlocks? Do you like post apocalyptic books? If you answered yes, then you should really read this book. David Estes has done it again, he is a truly talented author.

I want to thank him for sending me a copy of this book for a Read 2 Review on Goodreads.

I really liked the different take for this post apocalyptic book. Witches, wizards and warlocks instead of zombies and the undead. Even though there is a little bit of undeadness. It was refreshing to read about something other than zombies.

I enjoy how David makes you like each of his characters, whether it be like/love or like/hate. He somehow finds a way to draw you in to each character. He gets you invested in each one and then you can’t help it when you want to know more, more, more. I have to say that I liked each and every character in this book.

I really like the witch aspect because it makes things seem more “real” and it was fun to see how David made different kinds of witches. The witches are so powerful and I like how Rhett and Laney can still fight them. Very very good!!

I am looking forward to reading the next two books in this series. I think David Estes is an awesome writer and will definitely read more of his work.
