Kyle M. Scott is one of my favorite new authors. His work is always great and this new novel does not disappoint.
A young girl, Lilith, goes missing. A young boy, Eddie, starts having night terrors about the girl. A mother wants to find her child. A father wants to do everything and anything to protect his son. Where does this all lead? To the horror every parent has…the abduction and/or death of a child.
Kyle has done it again, he has taken true horror and written it in the pages of this book. Every parent fears this, every parent trys to protect against this, and for those of us that have had that fear and felt that fear, there is no other feeling but helplessness.
This one was a bit tough for me. Why? Because I have felt that fear and that helplessness.
Kyle M. Scott has brought out the fear in me with this book, in a fantastic sort of way, because I know every day how precious my children are and I cherish every moment I have with them.
4 out of 5 stars.
